Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for a lot of things but one thing I am thankful for especially today is my best friend.

Lauren and I met in late 2007 early 2008 where I had gotten a temp job as an Admin Assistant in Rancho.  I swear by day two we were sharing all of our secrets.  I ended up getting a job there full time.  I wouldnt have got through that time without her.  Our boss was terrible.  Seriously she was from a nighmare that ended up being a joke.  She would come in to work drunk from the night before, wearing the same pants.  She lied about everything.  I cant believe she didnt know that Lauren & I had caught on to her game.  Well she must have later because I was transferred to Irwindale.  I know that I needed to meet someone like Lauren when I did.  She is a wonderful friend, she was the best maid of honor I could have imagined.  She is going to be the best mom in the world to little Brooklyn.  We have shared many laughs together, and she has been my shoulder to cry on, someone I know I can talk to about anything and she wont judge me. We have shared bellinis, shoes, "jordans hahahah" etc.   I have noticed that as I get older friends get fewer, but, if you have at least one good friend that you can count on you have done ok.  I have a few that I can count on but, I know without a doubt Lauren & I will be friends forever. I hope she knows how much I appreciate our friendship and without a doubt would do anything for her when she needs me.
