Dear Caden
I am writing this letter to let you know how proud I am of you. You are growing up to be an amazing little boy. You are so great I cant even begin to explain to you how much I love you. As you will almost be 6 years old in 2 days I wanted to let you know the things that you do to amaze me.
You are the most loving, affectionate child. You give me kisses and hugs all the time (even though you have begun to get embarrassed in public to kiss me) but when we are home it never stops.
You still tell me you love me all the time.
You love video games & art. Those would probably have to be your two favorite things right now. You are the most amazing sense of creativity. We drew in this book Gramma got you for Christmas and you drew this girl named “spaghetti” in detail with a curly dress and everything.
You are very good with memories and direction. The memory you got from me the direction not so much. Yesterday we were completely lost and you told me how to get where we were going.
You have the funniest sense of humor. And you amaze me with the things you come up with (even though your new favorite thing is about poop and pee)
You turn red when I ask you about girls in your class and you have a crush on I carly. You don’t have to tell me, mom’s just know.
You have an eye for things. I dropped you off at school one morning in cut off sweat pants and a sweatshirt (like stylish ones not even baggy ones) and you asked me if I was gonna change before I came back for your assembly and you wanted me to put perfume and make up on?!
This year you started and completed t-ball, you are currently in kindergarten, you are almost fully swimming. You are now reading at first grade level and you are breezing through all of it. And you have lost 2 teeth. There have been tears and wide eyed brown eyed joys (your whole face lights up when things excite you). Your teacher loves you and daddy & I adore you.
Everytime I am around other children your age I realize how amazing & quiet and well mannered and grown up you actually are.
