Unthankful Americans
So who would want to live in another country that could be destroyed with one earthquake? not have running water? clean water? or a sanitary place to use the restroom? or a mail man that delivers your mail? or Shopping carts to push your grocerys to your car? I have thought and thought about the fact that we as Americans are not thankful for what we have. We (not any of this being me) throw our litter on the ground when there is a trashcan 5 feet away I mean I must have stepped in gum about 5 times in the past month, stepped on melted popscicles (luckily with shoes on), dont put our shopping carts where they belong..I mean really you push your grocerys to your car, you couldnt put your groceries away and then put the cart back where it belongs? there are those little grocery cart holders everywhere?..and please if you dont drive to the grocery store does not mean you can take your shopping cart home with you and just leave it anywhere you darn well please after that. My trash bill goes up everytime you do that! Im tired of being a hard working american when some people just take advantage of the system and live off welfare and food stamps but, drive new navigators...really? you cant pay for food but you can pay for your 800 dollar a month car payment? Again ungrateful americans...We should be thankful that every day we wake up and breath in the air and take a shower , we have a drug store that is open 24 hours if we need medication, we have grocery stores and food to eat...Why cant we just help the community by giving back ..pick up after yourself, throw your garbage away, maintain your general living area, help someone that drops something in front of you, give an extra dollar to that hard working waitress/waiter that brings your food more than you normally would..put your shopping cart back where it belongs, help an elderly person with directions, say good morning to people when you walk into a business, if you have old clothes give them to the salvation army, send a care package to a solider even if you dont know who they are. Im going to try and live this way for the remainder of my life and im sure the little things that you do to help someone not only puts a smile on your face but puts a larger smile back on those you help.
