Come out Come out wherever you are!
So, as most of you know we moved at the end of June. The house we moved into was a lot more work than I expected. My Mom, Dad and I spent 4 hours cleaning windows. Yes I said 4 hours! CJ has spent lot of time cleaning the yard and spraying for bugs. I scrubbed under the counters, behind toilets and on counters and found mouse poop etc. Now, if there is mouse poop there are probably mice right? So when I cleaned I figured if there is still mouse poop after I scrub everything I will know he is still in there somewhere. The front yard doesn’t look like much but my husband will get it the way it needs to look. He has a major obsession with yard work and I’m not complaining. The backyard is a nightmare. But, that will be fixed next weekend (it helps to know great vendors who will give you great prices). {( So, a party is to be planned soon! ) We are so excited.} Anyways back to what I was saying. CJ has been spraying for bugs, I’ve been cleaning etc. etc. etc. Well for some reason there were still spiders everywhere. Finally as of this week I have not seen a spider. So, on Friday night I was looking under my bathroom counter for some Excedrin and all of a sudden I see something run across the bathroom floor. I screamed. Then I saw him again run out of my walk in closet…Speedy Gonzales I tell you.. A MOUSE! I screamed again. So, we thought we trapped him in the room. We told Caden to go around the other end of the door and shove towels underneath. Well he left one corner out. And out got the mouse. We searched and searched and couldn’t find him. So, on Saturday I called my Mom (I always do in a crisis) and{yes I do consider a mouse a crisis} Sue me I’m dramatic a girl. So, anyways my mom and dad came over and then CJ got home and helped me put mouse traps everywhere (peanut butter, on the end of each of them). All weekend I was freaking out thinking I was going to see him. No sight of him anywhere! Well this morning I hear a SNAP (((SQUEEEELLL))) silence. I woke CJ up and you guessed it there he was …dead…Im glad I have a husband that will wake up and do that because there is no way I could dispose of that trap without puking. So one down. Hopefully no more to go.

Oh my gosh that is hilarious! And really crappy!! I'm sorry. Glad you guys caught the little guy. I hope there are no more too. Ugh gross!!
Ewww! I. Hate. Mice. We had a HORRIBLE ant problem when we moved in. At least you only had to deal with one little pest and not hundreds/thousands. Hope all is well.
